Custom Rosary
Step 4: Select Your Rosary Chain
You’re almost done! Choose a chain for your rosary.
Our rosaries are made with chain formed by hand. This listing is to create your rosary with Bronze chain, which is pictured here with Eagle’s Eye gemstone beads.
Because our manufacturer only supplies bronze in a specific gauge, rosaries with bronze chain will have Our Father links made with 14k rose gold-filled wire because it is available in a thicker gauge. All our rosaries, regardless of metal type, have one gauge for beads and a thicker gauge for connecting links for added durability. The rose gold filled wire is almost exactly the same color as the bronze, but resists oxidation so they are slower to turn more “coppery” in color if not routinely polished.
Listing is for chain only. These are not for individual sale and must be purchased with other parts to form a complete rosary.
Our rosaries are made with chain formed by hand. This listing is to create your rosary with sterling silver chain, which is pictured here.
This chain is made with Sterling Silver wire, a metal with a bright silvery-white finish. Sterling will tarnish if not routinely polished, but it is easy to maintain.

This chain is made with 14k Gold Filled wire. The links are formed individually, and the wire is strong and durable. Unlike many rosaries on the market, which have thin and weak links, this won’t readily bend or break - it can hold up through many, many prayers.
Gold Filled offers the luxurious appearance of 14k gold at an affordable price, and the metal is quite durable and strong. “Gold Filled” means that the core of the piece (be it a center, crucifix, or chain) is made of brass, with a thick layer of 14k gold bonded to it. Gold Filled pieces have a much thicker plating of gold than “gold plated” pieces, and the gold color remains far longer. Gold Filled pieces can retain their gold for years, even decades. Gold Plated items, on the other hand, retain their gold plating for a short period of time, usually a year or two, and the underlying metal is usually a different color so there is an obvious color change when the gold plating wears away.

Our rosaries are made with chain formed by hand. This listing is to create your rosary with 10k gold chain.
The chain is made with solid 10k gold wire. Choose from 10k yellow, white, or rose gold. Yellow gold has a classic yellow tone, like the chain in the image here, rose gold has the addition of a copper alloy to produce a pink color, and white gold has the addition of another alloy to produce a warm white tone.
Karat gold, whether 10k, 14k, or 18k are the strongest, most durable, luxurious, and easy to maintain metal choices we offer for our rosaries.
The links are formed individually, and the wire is strong and durable. To clean this metal, use the polishing cloth we include with your rosary, or an ionic cleaner. Please do NOT use sterling silver cleaners, which will ruin the gold.
